Accidentally Wes Anderson

Ola Walków

I took this picture accidentally with my old film camera outside of the the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Honolulu. The pink color which I love is an important part of the history of this place. Wes Anderson’s beloved films announce themselves through a singular aesthetic., so unique and unreal. This is really inspiring.

Ola Walków is a Polish fashion photographer and visual artist.
For the last five years, she has been living and working as a photographer in Toronto. She has participated in many exhibitions in Poland and worldwide (e.g., Maison de la Photographie in Lille, Galerie Claude Samuel in Paris, Saatchi Gallery in London). In 2015 she graduated with a Photography BA at the University of Arts in Poznań, and she was the finalist of the Poznań Photo Diploma Award. She can see beauty everywhere and she knows how to capture it.
As a fashion and portrait photographer with such a strong conceptual background, she is fascinated by femininity, expression, different cultures, and texture. Fashion photography allows her to create and experiment with her surreal vision.
She has been working for different clients worldwide. Ola really respects artists who stand up for ideas they believe in.
