After studying literature, he started his career as a reporter, which fostered his passion for
photography. He then relocated to Paris, developing his admiration for the fashion industry. Starting with five years of assistantship experience with famous photographers he then ventured out on
his own.
His images are known to be elegantly constructed, combination of an attuned sense of colour
and a perfectionist eye.
Zaessinger’s editorial collaborations include ELLE, MarieClaire, L'officiel and various prestgious
clients such as Bvlgari, Dior, Chanel, Chaumet.
